If you have dececided to use my web design service, the following extras are included with your package (if required).
- An original banner designed by me.
- A small logo.
- Thumbnails of your images.
- Editing of a reasonable amout of images supplied by you. Scanning and resizing included.
- Any necessary stock images (‘Image loading’ for example).
Images can be scanned by me from original photographs, or if you already have them on your PC as JPEG or GIF images they can be emailed to me for editing.

If there are any special requirements you need that are time consuming. Or if for some reason there are an unusually high number of images, there may be an additional charge, depending on the complexity of the work involved.
I will try to keep these costs down as much as possible, and will notify you before starting the work to allow you to decide if it is cost effective. If not, we will try to find some other solution.
Identifying images.
Before sending artwork or photos to me for inclusion on your website please follow this guideline to make things that little bit easier.
Number each image with a corresponding number included in your text. Obviously, if there is a large amount of text, I need to know where each image is supposed to go, so please make your instructions as clear as possible.

If you already have your images on your hard drive, they can be sent to me by E-mail, or better still, you could save them onto a CD ROM by you and post to me. Whichever method you choose, please follow these guidelines.
If you are sending images in JPEG format, do not compress them any more than necessary. Every time a JPEG is opened and saved again, it loses quality slightly, due to compression.
Another thing to do, if you have the means, is to reduce the actual dimensions of the picture (NOT the resolution) when sending them by E-mail. This is not necessary when saving them to disk. We can discuss this further on receipt of your order.

 I can improve the quality of some photos but unfortunately cannot work miracles! The better the quality to start with, the better they will appear on your website. This is not so important with small images, but if you want pop-up enlargements, the higher the quality the better.
